This is why as a father you must do everything possible in order to win over the judge and court system to turn the tide In your favor.

In order to get the judge to deem you as the better parent you must act like a better parent. You must first never miss any chance you have to spend time with your kids. But spending itme with your kids without any proof is useless in the fight for your child. You must document every experience you can by taking videos and pictures. The more proof you have that you spend time with your kids the better off you will be. As well the more you know about the battle you have in front of you the better off you will be. You must do your own research on how your local court system works. If it is possible can you meet with any local father support groups? This can go a long way in obtaining custody of your kids.

It may seem obvious but spending time with you kids is crucial to getting custody of them. The more involved you are with your kids and how they act in their lives will prove to anyone involved that you are a instrumental part of your kids lives.  Ideally you want o prove that your kids really depend upon you for their day to day welfare. You also want to prove to the judge that you are ready to take on the responsibility of being a full time parent.

It is also important that when you do spend time with your kids that you must capture every memory possible. You must completely document all the time you have with your kids. You need to actually prove to the judge and to all that is involved that you are there for your kids.

Lastly there are many steps involved when winning custody of your kids. The more research you do and the better prepared you are the easier the fight will be. After all if you know ahead of time what obstacles your ex can throw your way you can be better prepared for them.
